Dannon Training Institute (DTI), licensed and approved by the Alabama Community College System, Department of Postsecondary Education (License No. 15-1558-25), provides high-quality occupational training that equips students for healthcare careers with strong labor market demand.
Admissions Requirements:
 
Minimum age: 17 years old
CNA Program: High school diploma or GED preferred.
CPCT Program: Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
*Applicants must not have a criminal history involving theft, violence, or drugs.

Approved Training Programs

 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

Length: 4-6 Weeks
Credential Awarded: CNA Certificate
Occupational Pathways (O*NET 31-1131.00): Nursing Assistants provide basic care under nurse supervision, with projected national growth of 4% (2022–2032), median hourly wage $18.36【O*NET/Nursing Assistants】
 
Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT):

Length: Up to 16 weeks
Credential Awarded: CPCT Certificate 

Occupational Pathways (O*NET 31-1131.00, 31-9092.00): Patient Care Techs support nurses/doctors with direct care, EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital signs. Related occupations include:
* Patient Care Technicians  – Median hourly wage $20.20.

* Phlebotemists (31-9097.00) – Median hourly wage $19.51, projected 8%  growth (faster than average)【O*NET/Phlebotomists】
*EKG Technicians – Median hourly wage $22.85, projected growth 5%.

Enrollment Process

 

1. Submit an online or paper application.

2. Provide required documents (ID, proof of education, background         check if applicable).

3. Meet with Admissions staff for orientation.

4. Pay registration fee and arrange tuition/payment plan.

5. ReReceive official enrollment confirmation.

     ~50% due at enrollment; remaining 50% due mid-program

* All balances must be cleared before final exams, clinicals, or credentialing exams.

PAYMENT PLAN POLICY


Dannon Training Institute (DTI) provides flexible payment plan options to ensure students can pursue training without unnecessary financial hardship. All students are responsible for paying tuition and fees in full by the completion of their program.


Payment Plan Options

1. Standard Plan (Default): 50% of tuition due at enrollment. Remaining 50% due at mid-point of the program.


2. Installment Plans (By Approval): Weekly or bi-weekly installments may be arranged through the Business Office. Installment schedules are based on program length (CNA = up to 6 weeks; CPCT = up to 16 weeks).

 

3. Custom Plans (Case-by-Case): Students facing financial hardship may request alternative schedules. Approval requires meeting with the Business Office and signing a written agreement.

 

FEES AND CONDITIONS

  • Registration Fee: A portion of tuition or fees may be required at application to secure enrollment.

  • Late Payments: Payments more than 5 days past due are subject to a $25 late fee.
  • Non-Payment: Students who fail to meet payment obligations may be:

            ~Restricted from attending class or clinical rotations.

            ~Withheld from exams, transcripts, or certificates until balance is cleared.

            ~Administratively withdrawn if unresolved

  • Refunds: Governed by DTI’s published Cancellation & Refund Policy.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Students must keep their payment agreement current.

  • All balances must be cleared before final exams, clinical rotations, or certification testing.

  • Students with unpaid balances are not eligible for graduation or credential release.

POLICIES

Refund Policy:


  • Cancel within 72 hours (excluding weekends/holidays) or first 3 scheduled class days: 75% refund.
  • Cancellations must be in writing.
  • Pro-rated refunds issued before 50% completion; none after.
  • Non-refundable admin fee up to $100.


Attendance Policy:


  • Students must attend 80% of class hours.
  • More than 30 clinical hours missed may result in dismissal.
  • 4 tardies = 1.5 hours deducted.
  • Excused absences must be documented.


Grading & Assessment Policy:


  • Minimum grade of 74% (C) in all coursework and clinicals.
  • Missed exams must be made up per instructor policy (with penalties).
  • Students must complete all competencies and clinical requirements.

FERPA / Student Privacy Statement:

 

Dannon Training Institute complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Students have the right to:

Inspect and review their education records.

  • Request amendment of inaccurate or misleading records.
  • to disclosures of personally identifiable information (PII), except where FERPA authorizes disclosure without consent.
  • DTI will not release student information to outside parties (including parents/guardians of adult students) without written consent, except as       permitted by law.
